Kate is the content and community manager of Entrepreneur on Fire, a hugely popular daily podcast hosted by John Lee Dumas.  Entrepreneur on Fire is more than a podcast: it’s a course that teaches thousands of people around the world how to create, grow and monetize their own podcasts.

Kate hosts another podcast as well, Kate’s Take: The EntrepreneurOnFire Audio Blog, where she shares advice on what it takes to become a successful entrepreneur.

Kate recently launched The Fire Path Project, an online course that helps entrepreneurs with their journey toward building a business. You can read her book by the same title, available on Amazon. And she offers a free series on her podcast, in which he delves into the various stages of The Fire Path Project.

Since John and Kate publish a monthly income report on their website, there’s no mystery surrounding the financial impact they are having with their business. In 2014, they earned nearly $2.8 million in gross sales. Clearly, they are doing something right when it comes to leveraging content and community into a thriving, cash-flow positive business.

“Every one of the emails to me is a piece of content, because knowing that’s what our audience is looking for, that’s the best content I can provide. Instead of just replying to somebody’s email and giving them an answer, why not create a blog post out of it, or an email opt-in give-away so that I can share that content with a much wider audience.”
